Different DROs (Digital Read Out) are available:

• Gear number
  Updated every 0.4 seconds

• Engine temperature
  In Celsius degrees

• Engine RPM
  Also available as graphical indicator

• Speed
  In Kmh or Mph

• Battery voltage
  With alarm function

• TPS
  Throttle opening degrees

Two different bar indicators are available:

• Speed bars
  Permanently displayed. It show the current speed by progressive filling of colored bars.
  It is a key feature of the Periscope, it allows the driver to cut down reactions time because of the reduced eyes-focusing delay.

• RPM bars
  Optionally displayed. It shows current RPM by filling small colored bars.

Some ECU-specific functions are available:

• View ECU identification
  Show type, serial number and date of the last injection-map update.

• View diagnostic faults
  Show the list of all faults currently memorized by the ECU,
  as well the relate DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code).

• Clear diagnostic faults
  Delete all of the faults currently memorized by the ECU.

• TPS reset
  Reinitialize the correct position of the injection throttle.

Different data are collected in real-time when the bike is moving.

For any gear the following values are registered:

• how many times the gear has been engaged;

• how much time (in hours and seconds) the gear has been used;

• max engine RPM reached with the gear engaged;

• max speed reached with the gear has engaged.

Two trips are available. You can reset or temporarily freeze a trip at any time.

The LED light is useful at nighttime. It offers a light spot that allows you to look at a map, at the keys of your garage, check the wallet, etc.

The light has the following features:

• it can be manually activated by pulling&releasing the clutch lever when the bike is stopped;

• a timer can be set to turn off the light if you forget it turned on;

• it can be automatically on when you park the bike and stop the motor with the kill-switch.

Mounting the device is quite straightforward, everybody can do it.
Basically all you need is to fix the device at the windscreen, route the cables and plug the connectors.

The Periscope can be configured through a menu-system allowing to setup it upon your needs.
For example you can choose what numeric indicator has to be displayed, the level of the voltage alarm, the colored levels in the speed bar-indicator, etc .

Among other things, you can also precisely refine the speed shown by adding some correction values.

The Periscope is an "heavy duty" device that can be used with success in adverse condition.
It can be used in offroad rallies or race competitions without problems.
